I’m Michael Mills, a concept artist, visual development specialist and illustrator with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. My work spans film and television, video games, and themed entertainment, where I bring ideas to life through compelling visuals.
With a strong foundation in traditional illustration and modern digital workflows, I excel at creative problem-solving, storytelling, and world-building. I’ve contributed to Emmy and Canadian Screen Award-winning productions, designed immersive theme park attractions for global brands, and developed concept art and illustrations for games. My process blends 2D and 3D techniques, using tools like Photoshop, Blender, and SketchUp to craft high-quality designs that translate seamlessly into production.
Whether designing environments, characters, props, or cinematic matte paintings, I thrive in collaborative settings, helping teams visualize and refine their creative vision. If you’re looking for an artist who gets excited for very cool visuals, can adapt, innovate, and deliver,
let’s connect!
